Hi!
We would like to implement ChaRM, Service Desk and Implementation in our SOLMAN.
The ABAP stack is patched to SPS 13. Should the Java side also be patced to SPS 13 or does it make any difference, if we do not use some Java functionality such as Diagnostics?
With other words: should always ABAP stack SPS be equal to SPS of Java stack within SAP Solution Manager?

Be in sync if you make use of the Java part.
If you do not use the Java part at all shut it down to save system resources.

yes - in doublestack installation the patchlevels must be in sync. The Java part may rely on the ABAP or vice versa.
