To manage materials in different UoM: ISO UoM vs American UoM

Hi,

It is possible maintain materials in ISO UoM (in Italian Company) and sell them to American Customer in American UoM? So, It is possible that in the Sales Orders to American customers the materials are expressed in American UoM?

I would appreciate suggestions as to how to address this issue.

Dear Ms Maltese,

I presume that all the different units of measure are set, as alternate units of measure, for the materials under review.

The sales unit of measure is integral part of the General Data screen group of Sales: Sales Organisation 1, of the material's master data. This information is plant specific and permitted combinations would enable meet, at least part of your requirements.

These may be additionally altered at order entry.

The issue concernig also the Dimensions: weigh, volume, size that are managed to Basic data 1 of the material's master data; The materials are managed in european UoM in their master data; There is a problem when a Sales Order is addressed to an american customer that uses diffferent dimensions UoM and that requires the use of american UoM.

It is possible to manage Dimensions: weigh, volume, size also to the level of Sales Area?
