Workitem ID and task ID

Hello ,

In sxi_monitor for process (BPM) in workflow log there are two different Column

1)Workitem ID

2)Task ID

what are these two

Workitem ID:

Workitem will be triggered to execute any specific action to be performed by the Agent Assigned. For exampl Approval or decision work item .

Work item holds up the workflow. When the workflow sends a mail (usually as a background step) it continues with the process immediately after transmitting the mail. When a work item is generated, the workflow will not continue until the work item has been processed.

TASK ID:

System displays an overview of the database tasks and information about the current status of each individual task.And these tasks r represented in theform od task ids.

Procedure for displaying task details:

1.Select a task.

2.Choose Edit Task Details.

Analyze the display of the task details.
