Model size limit

Hi,

Is there any size limit for models to be deployed. I am currently working in BI sources with flex 2 compiler in VC 7.00 SP 15 . Compilation of one of the model is successfull buy deployment hangs at 85% .. Is there any space limitation with models ?? where can i check the deployment space consumed ?? ..what can be the reason for this

Hi Prashant,

1. There is no size limitation as such for VC models.

2. 85% deployment -> could you tell us where did you get this?

3. Did you logoff and login, and then try deploying the model?

4. Were you able to successfully save this model just before deploying? Any chance it hung up then?

Hi Vani,

1: The model is vey huge one with lots of table and 3 layers. The compilation works properly but deployment stops at 85 % . It reamins at 85 % for long time.

2: I was able to log off and save properly . Infact i restarted my j2ee instance.

What can be reason . OS level and basis guy says there is no space issue . I have written to SAP . Will wait for their reply.
