Hi All,
I have a requirement to migrate all the existing BC developments to XI 7.0. This need arises from the fact that there needs to be upgradation at OS level, which BC does not support.
I have come across documents which show how manually BC configurations are replicated to XI.
Is there any other way through which all existing developments with respective configs of BC 4.7 can be transfered to XI with least intervention ( as most of these developments were done long back and we dont have much knowledge of their background ).
Also when is the new SAP BC 4.8 version expected to be out.
What are its technical details like which OS levels and JDK would it support etc.
Thanks and Regards,
Siddhesh S.Tawate

Hello,
about conversion tool, check out http://www.sisusoftware.com/
Note that I did not work with it yet, but it seems to be the most sophisticated tool for BC2XI on the market.
BC 4.8 was released on 2.July, so you can download and check the installation requirements. OS is e.g Win2003 server, JDK is 1.5
Ask me if you need more details.
