Hi........
Actually when u use SXI_CACHE to refresh xi cache....and it gives an error or an exception....
1)You need to proceed further with
Runtime Cache --> Start Delta Cache Refresh (F6)
Which fetches the executed data from cache,,,,,,
2)Still if you face a problem , only then go for
Runtime Cache --> StartComplete Delta Cache Refresh (Shift + F6)
as this completely deletes the whole of cache and again freshly fetches the complete data...this may take some time....
The first is often more than sufficient...
Else u need to consult ur basis...they will do the cache refresh....and better ask them to set Auto Cache refresh On.......
These are the maximum possibilities pertaining to cache refresh problems..
