Error while saving the sales order

Dear All,

When i am saving the sales order the following error comes please advice..

For object RV_BELEG , number range interval 01 does not exist

Message no. NR751

Diagnosis

The database table NRIV has the delivery class 'C', i.e. the SAP default settings are only in client 000.

Procedure

Create the missing number range interval in customizing

Hi Atul,

This is because of number range interval not maintained for your sales document type so,

Please maintain the number range for the interval 01 in VN01 transaction then assign that interval (01 ) to your document type in VOV8 transaction.

Hi,

U have to maintain number ranges to ur sales document types in Tcode VN01. Generally we maintain internal number range only unless if there is any special requirement to avoid any repeatation or confusion.

try to assign the number ranges to the sales documents by following the path....

IMG-->Sales & Distribution>Sales--->Sales document -

---

> Sales document header-->Define No. ranges---->maintain no. range intervals......

try this and see if your error is resolved

Dear Atul

This is bcoz you have not maintained the number range for sale order. To check this,

- go to VOV8, select your order type and see what value is maintained for the field Number range

- go to VN01, click Status and see whether the same numeric value is maintained with number ranges.

Maintain the same in VN01 and save. Now try to create a sale order.
