Dear Experts,
I am facing a problem in CJB2 transaction,
I have done the following config for CJB2.
1. I have defined the Strategy Rule with the following details.
Strategy - 30
Description - R&D projects
AA Element - Selected
Settlement Profile - ZPR&D (the same profile was used in Project Profile too)
Account Assignment Category - 4 Copy rule from superior object.
2. After the above step, I have asigned the strategy to the Project Proile.
3. My project has the following structure.
Project Definition - RDP-0038
WBS Element - RDP-0038/01
WBS Element - RDP-0038/01-01 (has a network with internal and external activities)
WBS Element - RDP-0038/01-02 (has a network with internal and external activities)
Material procurement, services procurement for the project is completed.(MIGO_GI & ML81N)
Confirmed all the activities of the Ntworks and status is set to TECO for the networks.
4. After this I tried to run CJB2, but I am getting Error message like below:
WBS element RDP-0038/01
No settlement rule found to be used as reference
Object not processed because of errors
WBS element RDP-0038/01-01
No settlement rule was copied
Object not processed because of errors
WBS element RDP-0038/01-02
No settlement rule was copied
Object not processed because of errors
Object not processed because of errors
Message no. ORB501
Diagnosis
Errors have occurred during processing of the current object. For details, see the messages for this object.
System Response
Processing of this object stopped.
Procedure
Correct the errors and start processing again.
I tried with the options 2 & 3 in the strategy i.e., Account Assignment as 2 - Requesting Cost Center
3 - Responsible Cost Center. (Both the options used individually and tested the cycle,)
For those 2 options CJB2 is working fine w/o any error messages.
Can anybody help me on this issue???
Thanks and Regards,
Praveen
Maintain the settlement rule at the project definition level. You are trying to copy the settlement rule from the superior object and your superior object is project definition here.
Maintain a rule there and execute the transaction, it should copy over whatever rule maintained.

Dear Sreenivas,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes you are correct, but my requirement is that I want to settele the WBS emement no 3 to WBS Element 2 and WBS element 2 to WBS element 1 and the header WBS Element will be settled to a cost center finally.
Ex: WBSE - RDP-0038/01-02 settlement rule for this will be WBS RDP-0038/01-01 100% ful 1
WBS RDP-0038/01-01 100% per 2
and WBSE - RDP-0038/01-01 settlement rule will be WBS RDP-0038/01 100 % ful 1
WBS RDP-0038/01 100% per 2
ans WBSE - RDP-0038 settelement rule will be CTR 10000 100% ful 1
CTR 10000 100% per 2.
This I want to do it with the help of CJB2, I will maintain the settlement rule for the header WBS element.
Please help me out on acheiving the above.
Thanks and Regards,
Praveen.
Copy rule from superior object- means the rule on superior WBS will be copied into all lower level WBS.
WBS1- Settlement rule to CTR 1 - 100% PER
Assume you have this strategy Copy rule from superior object
To generate settlement rules now on below WBS's, you execute CJB2
WBS 1.1
WBS 1.1.1
WBS 1.1.2
On executing the, WBS 1.1 will copy the rule of WBS 1 i.e., settlement rule to CTR1-100% PER
WBS 1.1.1 will copy the rule of WBS 1.1 i.e., settlement rule to CTR1-100% PER
WBS 1.1.2 will copy the rule of WBS 1.1.1 i.e., settlement rule to CTR1-100% PER
This is the way this copy rule works and not the other way as you assumed. Result would be same, everything settles to CTR.
Regards
Sreenivas
