Create Planning Lay Out for CJR2

Hi to All,

I want to plan costs for project by period (monthly). I tried in CJ40 but it is not possible(?). In CJR2 it is possible but it is a long procedure since i cant just paste the planned costs from Excel for all the WBS elements.

So i want to create a planning layout that conists of the WBS elements as rows. and the columns are consisting of the different periods/months.. in that way i can easily input the planned costs.. can anyone say if i can do this and if yes, how?

the links helped me learn more.. however what i want to accomplish is to be able to have a plan lay out where i can easily plan PER PERIOD for different WBS elements..

with the current layout, i can only input total values and i still have to go to the period screen in and re distribute the values. but what i wish to attain is to have the different planned costs per period as COLUMNS for input..

hope i was able to explain my need and hope you can shed light if it is possible or not and how it could be done..
