Alternate base value condition help in calculating taxes on a base value which is different from say the net/gross price of the document. There are scenarios where you will require to add or deduct certain pricing condition from the base value on which taxes are calculated for eg: VAT is sometimes calculated on base + excise + freight. In such cases alternate base value routines along with subtotals help in passing the condition value in a pricing procedure to the tax procedure.
hi
Go to transaction code VOFM.
In the menu bar, go to requirements - pricing.
Here you create a routine number and define a routine according to your requirement.
The same routine number is assiged back in the pricing procedure. The same principle works whether it be requirement or calculation type or alternative condition base value.
