Hi All,

Can some one help me with an answer to my question- Why in billing (vf01/vf02) fields are grey out like -line item, prices etc.,

in the billing documents the line items are copied from other documents that is why they are in grey

you cannot enter line items in the billing documents

if you want to change the prices for this you need to maintain the copying control settings for changes in the price type etc and the copying requirements

Hi Guru,

The grey fields are non modifiable fields. you cannot have anychanges, or entries in those fields. they are filled from the preceding documents through copy controls in your Billing. In Billing the fields are depedent on the preceding documents. So they are greyed out.
