The Note 710914 - Upgrading the J2EE Engine Startup Framework mentions about how to update but at the bottom of the note, it has the following statement and I am not sure if I need to follow this note, as I have SAP_BASIS release version 700:

"Note

Although marked otherwise, this SAP Note applies only to the 6.40 version of the J2EE Engine."

Any feedback on it will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

It means this note applies only to WebAS 6.40. Raise a customer message regarding WebAS 7.0.
