stock in transit

hi

we are exporting material ,material is taken outof factory then it is placed in docks , the export is on hold til the billof ladding is generated

so now my issu is how can i know the stock in transit i.e. stock not yet exported

can any one help me

Dear Kunal

May be you can consider creating a new storage location for docks. As and when MFBF (production run) is run, one more transfer movement to this new storage location can be done.

Of course, I know that b4 moving the goods out from the plant, you need to post the goods issue but instead of that, create a delivery and save the document. With this delivery reference, you can create a proforma document against which, the goods can be moved out from the plant.

Once you get the Bill of Lading, post the goods issue and generate commercial billing.

Will think of and get back in case a better solution struck my mind.

Dear Kunal

- Create a new storage location in ox09

- Maintain that storage location in MMSC

- Transfer stock from one storage location to docs via MB1B with movement type 311

- Create a delivery w/o doing PGI and save

- Create F8 proforma referencing this delivery

- Despatch the export cargo to docks

- Once B/L is received, go to VL02N, do post goods issue and raise commercial invoice

Of course, you need to have copy controls for both the billing types, ie. F8 and F2 with reference to delivery type LF in VTFL.

Check TCode MB52 it will show Stock and value of stock in Transit.
