Solution Manager ---ICMAN --service cannot be reached

Dear All ,

Solution Manager System

When i am trying to execute ICMAN from SICF , or any service from DSWP like Self daignosis , transfer configuration i am getting the below mention error

instance number 8012

Service cannot be reached

What has happened?

URL http://solman.xxxxxx.com:8012/sap/public/myssocntl call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

Note

The termination occurred in system SMN with error code 404 and for the reason No Extension Found.

The selected virtual host was 0 .

What can I do?

Please select a valid URL.

If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

ErrorCode:ICF-NF-http-c:000-u:SAPSYS-l:E-i:solman_SMN_12-v:0-s:404-r:NoExtensionFound

Hi

is your service in tcode SICF> default_host>SAP>public>myssocntrl activated?

If not activate it and try again..

but dont know why ICMAN is not working ....

Check if the service is activated. Doubleclick on it and see, if SSL is enabled. Do you use generally SSL on that system?

I test it in my system:

http://FQDN:8000/sap/public/myssocntl?sap-client=900

I get a blank browser. Is this right? SP level is 14 SM4.0.

Dear markus ,

generally i dont use SSL but after in SAP reference guide i had activated SSL.

I have check for ICMAN for SSL it is not activated .

my concern is

I am working on default_host delivered by SAP .

Parameter 'is/HTTP/virt_host_0 :;

logon data prodecure "standard"

Hi,

1. Your URL is not correct.

2. Add your complete FQHN in instace profile.

ie .Fully Qualifiled Host Name = hostname.xxxx.com:PORT.

3. Now you can check with SICF tcode.

Use tcode SICF> SAP>public-->myssocntrl, then it will connect to perticular client in your system.

I have added FQDN in Instance Profile already

i;e icm/host_name_full solman.xxxxxxxx.com

my instance number is for Abap is 12 and java is 22 ..

i tried but no result
