Hello Abhishek,

the difference between PLM and PM is the following:

PM is a SAP component for plant maintenance in which you can plan and maintain equipments, work centers and materials that need regular checking.

PLM is the product lifecycle management in which various SAP components are involved see the thread [PLM forum|;. PLM defines the process of a product from its creation to its end, where as this can be seen as a cyclic process because the end of a product can lead to a new product that evolves from the original product and in which knowledge gained from the various steps in PLM is involved.
