Material master record

Hi Friends,

At material master record, in change mode MM02, we have to enter every time data in screen 'organizational levels' about plant, sales organization, distribution channel etc.

I work on same organizational data. Is there a way to default this information.

You can meet your requirement by doing this

Go to transaction MM02, then enter your material

From menu bar select Defaults -> Organizational levels.

Enter the data of organizations you want to be defaulted and click enter.

Now select your views click enter. In next screen you would notice system has populated data of organizational levels which you defined previously.

You can do this by following steps above but select sub menu 'views' to meet your requirement

i.e. in MM02 record, from menu bar select Defaults -> Views and select the views you want to be defaulted and click enter

Once the defaults are set, can we change them?

I don't see any option for doing these.

You can remove the defaults by following this method

For removing default views, from menu bar select defaults -> views. Now de-select the views and click enter.

For removing default organizational views, from menu bar select defaults -> organizational levels. Now remove the default data you entered and click enter.
