Subsequent Document for Bid Invitation - Dumpt

Hello SRM Seniors!

I had created a shopping cart and by this shopping cart I made a bid invitation.

Vendors send to me the quotations and the data and time finished. ok!

Now, I would like to transform my quotation in a purchase order or contract. How can I do this?

Hi Pedro,

Follow the process as mentioned below:

1) In process bid invitation transaction, open the bid invitation and go to bidder/bids tab.

2) Go to quotations and go to change mode. Accept it.

3) Once accepted, you will get a 'Generate PO' and 'Purchase contract' button based on your selection in the basic data tab of bid invitation.

4) Select the document type and create the follow-on document.

Where can I accept the quotation in Bidder/Bids?

Where can I choice PO or Contract?

Hi Pedro,

Once you go to the bidder/bids tab, you can click on Bid Submitted. It will open up the quotation. You can go into the change mode and accept the same.

About contract or PO, this is an editable dropdown box in the create bid invitation page. You cannot change it later. In your current case, you have selected PO or contract. Hence you should get both the buttons on the accepted quotations page.

My button to accept is closed! How do I enable it?

Hi Pedro,

Once you go into the change mode, it will be enabled. Once accepted, click on refresh button and you will get the button for generate PO or contracts. This should resolve the issue.
