Hi Gurus,

I am getting an error when i am running a Z transaction, i list below what is the error i am getting. Is this any way related to bug in the Program

Update error, transaction VL01

Message no: 00377

Diagnosis

An error occurred in CALL TRANSACTION USING OR CALL DIALOG USING

During a synchronous update

The error was caused by the transaction VL01

Update information

Return Code: 009

Text : Period indicator 1 is not defined

while i was using SM31

I can see

VD346: Period Indicator 1 is not defined3

Very Urgent can any one suggest me with a solution

Dear Kannan

It seems you are trying to create delivery related transaction. Perhaps, it would have been easy to give suggestion had you indicated what exactly you are trying to do.

It seems from the error that either

- without goods issue is posted, you are trying to create invoice

- without maintaining Accounting views, you are trying to post goods issue.

If the above reasons are not, please let me know the exact problem at which stage you faced.

Hello Mr.Kannan,

Looks like in your Z-program, VL01 is being called programatically.

Also, there are some signs of update termination--detailed analysis can be found under SM14: If this is the case, this might have occured due to simultaneous access of single db resource.

Pls take help of your technical consultant to understand and check the error. Or, simply try executing again--it might work!
