VMC Paramemeter Settings

Hi,

I want to set the following profile parameter,

May I know which profile should I use?

Default Profile or Instance profile?

The parameters are related to VMC.

vmcj/enable = on

vmcj/option/ps = 768M

vmcj/property/vmc.cachesize = 10

vmcj/option/gc/sharedWaterMark = 60

vmcj/option/percentageCopyOnlySC = 17

vmcj/option/percentageSharedClasses = 17

vmcj/option/maxJavaHeap = 200M

Hi

You can create the memory parameters in the Instance profile.

Reason:

1. All the memory parameters are Instance related. Thats why you have to specify them in this profile.

Else if you want to specify these globally, then specify in Default profile.

2. Instance profile would override all the parameters values that are present as default in SAP system.
