Issue on Promotions in IS Retail

Hi Retail Guru's,

I am very much new to IS Retail, presently I am working on Promotions.When I am doing the subsequent Processing @ WAK5 transaction, especially with respect to Allocation Table, there is ERROR IN MESSAGE DETERMINATION and the Message no. MW532

Though after checking in lot many places, I could not trace out the problem.

Please help in this regard.

Hi

Before coming to the allocation did the announcement is done correctly. Make shore the copy of the annoucements is displayed on the screen and then move on to allocation.

Thanks for your response, announcement is working well.

But only when I come to Allocation...this Message Determination error has accured....in which I could not move further.

Let me please know all the Control Settings with regard to this issue, so that I can cross check all and try to trace out where excatly I am missing.

a) Creation of Promotion WAK1

Promotion Type u2026u2026u2026.

Planned Currency u2026u2026u2026.

On Sales Fromu2026u2026.. Tou2026u2026u2026

Sales ord Fromu2026u2026. Tou2026u2026u2026

Article

Sales Unit

Planned Sales Qty

In Tabstrip choose Qty Planning Give Allocation Rule

Price Planning Purc/Sales Price is displayed

Site Group u2026u2026.

b) Subsequent Processing WAK5

Price Activation

Select Article Activate

Supply Source Detmn

c) Announcement of the Promotions WAK5

Promotional announcement is necessary to communicate the details of the promotions to a particular site or a group of sites that comes under the promotion module

Announcement

Site Group

Notification

Promotion Number

Message

d) Carry Out Listing WAK5

Perform Listing

e) Generating Allocation Table WAK5

Allocation Table

Select Article

Allocn Table Qty

Unit

Allocation Rule

Click Header Data

Check if Purchasing Data is maintained

Viz., Purch orgn,Purc Group

Message GR lead Time in Distbn Center

Transfer

f) Check Promotions WAK5

Enter Promotion

Check Promn

Select Promotion Number

g) Deliver Articles to Stores WA08

Tick Doct Cats Deliveries

Allocation Table

Latest Generation Date

Promotion

Click Execute Button

Generate Doct Button

Double Click Deliveries of each site

Thanks a lot for your reponse, I quite aware of the complete steps which you have mentioned, but only thing is when I came to Step-e under generation the Allocation Table, after entering all the data once I execute.....Instead of asking for GR Lead Time, there is error which says Error in Message Determination

Kindly help me in this regard.
