Hi
I am getting the following error in receivr mail adapter:
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: java.io.IOException: unable to create a socket
Please Help!!

In the mail communication channel give
Transport protocal as SMTP
Message protocal as XIPAYLOAD
In the url give url of your mail server like as smtp://xxxxxxx
Then cofigure the authentication details

as i understood that problem seems to be related to the ICM, there are some time out parameters that can be set for the ICM, one is icm/conn_timeout. You can specify a specific timeout for the profile parameter icm/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP,PORT=8007,EXTBIND=1,TIMEOUT=900. That means you can add the timeout parameter separated by a comma from the others. Default is 60
