Webservice and Tracelog

Hello together,

I m calling a Webservice from a 3rd party system. It s running fine, but as you can see in the subject I want to know if there is a better possibility for tracing my call ' cause I have no chance to get the trace on the recipient side.

Now I m using transaction sm59 for showing the rfc trace. But the view is not really user-friendly for a fast overview. Does anyone know an other transaction in order to get the trace?

Hi Jürgen,

my understanding is that your ABAP system is web service client (consumer) and the 3rd party system offers the web service.

For web service calls from ABAP, the outgoing calls can be traced in ICF, i.e. transaction SICF, using the recorder.Use menu Client / Recorder to find the entry where to start the recorder and to analyze the recordings. I do not say that this is much more user-friendly ...
