Hi All
We have a 3 stage approval process APO, BPO and Security.
Is there a way of allocating a lead approver with multiple alternate approvers. We would like the security team a group of 6 members to be allocated as alternate approvers so in the case of an escalation anyone of them can approve the request.
Is there a way of setting this up!
Thanks!
Rodger-
You can define the group email within the stage configuration. If you scroll down under the email messages for the stage, there is a field for group email. If you specify an email there, they will get the request for approval along with the Approver defined in the dropdown...

Ankur, but you are not able to approve the stage?
Rodger, security by standard is the group of people that has the security role assigned, so each of them can approve the request anyhow. To my knowledge it's not possible to have this just in a case of escalation.
Also, you can define custom approver determinators (or role owners etc) having multiple approvers, not just the lead approver. Maybe instead of using alternates, define multiple approvers and the first one to logon to AE and handle the request will be the approver.
