Hello,
In Generic sap,
we have sap modules like SAP MM,SD,HR,PP,PM,PS,...
all the above modules are basic modules. these fit into any industry .
without these generic modules no industry exists.
the following are some examles of industries
Retail,Utilities,petro chemicals,health care,education,automobiles....
For any industry specific modules,it has own set of modules in addition to the generic modules.U can view the modules of the industry through the below link
and select sap for industries.

Dear Rajendra,
thanks for asking, my suggested answer to your question
>How the industrious solutions different form other
would be structured in the following way:
1. How they differ by their nature as
a. re-packaging existing SAP Business Suite/ERP offerings
b. own industry/specific development
c. a mixture of both
2. How they differ by the technical shipment as
a. Part of the Business Suite (e.g. Banking Enhancement Package to ERP 6.0)
b. Add-On to the Business Suite
c. Own Platform (e.g. banking services from SAP 6.0)
d. Add-On to an own Platform
3. How they differ in being on different versions of NetWeaver
a. still on 6.40
b. on 7.00
c. on 7.10
4. How they differ in being
a. one consistent set of applications only
b. a mixture of different applications on different platforms and shipment types
I muight have missed a differentiation criteria important for you, please have it named then.
Given your interest, each industry expert could now add assigning his/her industry solution to a category.
I do not know a complete view, and I guess things change so a view by one year might be obsolete the next year.
Hope to have helped you in some point of view,
regards Ralf
