Batch search statergy

Hi Friends ,

I have give batch number manually during creating sales order , automatic system batch determination statergy is not working . All configaration is ok ........what are the thing i have to check to retify . Is it automatic selection of batch during sales order creation is possible with reference to expire date or batch number .

Hi,

Please check in the material master (MM02) under Classification tab whether classification is maintained for that particular material! If not then do maintain the same with values for the charecteristics........

Then in T. Code VCH1 Search Stratergy do maintain the selection criteria and the sort rule!

This should allow the sales order to get the batch No automatically.
