Document browser in dms

Hi all,

I got 7 tabs in create document info record (cv01n), about 5 i knows, but additional 2 are "Document browser" and "Authorizations", I have to remove this tabs, kindly help me out, where I can change the configuration.

Dear Punam Modi

Your problem solved by doing steps which described below

SPRO->Cross Appln Compnt.->Document Mngmt>Control Data->Activate Document Browser and ACLs

and Untick option which ever TAB u want to remove

Hi poonam,

These are the standerd tabs in the screen,

authorisation tab is used when you want to restrict the particular user to access theparticulat doc no. of a doc type.

you can avoid this tab , by doing setting in dc10

in the field selection tab for authorisation group , select suppress field.

also suppress other filed which you dont want

Hi nitin,

I m not taking about authorization group which comes in classification, mainly there are 5 tabs in create DIR. but I m getting 7 tabs, so can u pls. guide me if I can suppress Authorization tab thru SPRO.......... as I dont have authorization of DC10.........

hi poonam,

I think you are working on test server which is non modifiable,

so do the setting for particular doc type in development server,

and transport that request to test server.

changes will be reflect to test server.

you can do these things in dc 10 only.

Any changes on the SAP Standard Screen is an development and for this you need to contact to Abapers.
