FireFighter Logon Error Message

Hi,

We have FireFighter 5.2 implemented and working. Recently, a weird error started to appear. While a particular FireFighter ID (ex. FF_TEST01) was being used, the session ended erroneously. Since then, we can not invoke the same firefighter ID anymore. The system shows FF_TEST01 ID as green and ready to be used, however when we attempt to invoke it, the system says it is still being used by a user. We've ended all sessions through SM04 and also tried deleting/recreating the same Firefighter ID, but the error still exists. If we delete the "Used By" value under FireFighter Owners for that particular FireFighter ID, and then try to logon, we get the message that the ID is being used by "blank". Has anyone experience this issue and know how to resolve it? Thanks.

Try un-assigning and re-assigning the same iD

You can chek whether any process that were initiated by the FFID is still running in the system. If that is the case, even the FFID is logged out of the system also, it will still show that it is being used by the same.

Hi Robert,

This really seems to be a weird and rare situation with FF. I never experienced this problem so far. Hey did you checked FF Front End report, Invalid Firefighter IDs, Controllers or Owners Report If not then check it for the same FF ID may be you get to know something useful.
