SAP 4.7 Installation Problem

Hi Experts,

i have installed sap 4.7 successfully in my computer without any error messages.

when i log in to the sap everythng is working fine except thr layout editor of screen painter.

i can access the transaction se51 and its working fine untill then..but when i press the layout editor i get an error message saying tht "NO RESPONSE FROM GRAPHICAL PAINTER'.

I HAVE INSTALLED SAP ON WINDOWS 2003 SERVER.

PLZ PROVIDE ME THE SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM???

Writing something like that in CAPITALS means SHOUTING at people.

What SAPGUI version are you using and what patchlevel? Did you try to update to the latest one?

i am sorry i didn't knew tht writing in capitals means shouting at ppl.

nywaz i don't knw the version of my gui.i am using the one tht comes with the software pac.

will upgrading to a latest gui can solve my problem??

the gui level is 6.40 and the patch level is 0.

VERY old... I´d update to the latest SAPGUI patchlevel and try again.
