n step limit wflow WS14000109. First range determines manager instead autom

Hi,

In BBPCRM4.0 SP8 we are using a n step limit workflow WS14000109.

I have used Spending limit, Approval limit and the SLapprover attributes

Example:

User: Employee

Spending Limit=u20AC600

SLAPPROVER=Manager

User: Manager

Spending Limit=u20AC600

Approval Limit=u20AC600

SLAPPROVER= Manager2

User: Manager2

Spending Limit=u20AC10000

Approval Limit=u20AC 1000000000

SLAPPROVER=

the problem is when Employee make a SC with value below 600u20AC the workflow is trigering correctly but is determining Manager and not automatically aproved.

Does anybody know what can this due to? and how I can solve??

I have done same test in SRM4 SP12 and I have the same behavior so I suspect some is wrong.

can suggest one workaround

In addition to yr current WF WS14000109,

also activate automatic approval WF.

For automatic WF engter the start condition as

the SC total value should be < 600 euro

and exclude this condition in WS14000109

means in start condition

SC total value should be > 600 euro

then below 600 euro SC will be auto approved.

Hi Dinesh,

Thanks, I had thought that as possible alternative, but I see a problem that if in different organizational units, the value under you can buy without approval is different, you have to add initial condition to WF, instead simply update attributes.

Does anybody know other solution?

Hi again,

Another disadventage that use WF without approval for the first level is if you use more the 2 levels with different levels.

Any idea about the reason of this thread
