Mapping drive to SAP Application server

Hi All,

We have a scenario where we have been alloted a drive and we have received all our flat files for upload in this folder.

Since files are of big size i we want to upload directly from application server directory which is possible only when we can see the drive through the AL11 transaction of SAP BI as directory.

Is there any process which can help us to map the drive to SAP Application server and later we can have a directory on the same which can be treated as part of SAP Application server.

Hello Rahul,

That would depend on your OS. What is the OS on which SAP Application Server exists ?

Also, on the server where your alloted drive is connected what is the OS ?

Well one system is windows based and other is unix based.

Meaning what OS is the source and what OS is the target.
