How to make Customer Group fields mandatory

In XD01, Sales Area Data Tab -> Extras -> Additional Data -> Customer groups.

You have fields as below, i want to make it mandatory. It is not a part of A/c Group field status.

Customer grp 1

Customer grp 2

Customer grp 3

Customer grp 4

Customer grp 5

Dear Amitava,

Goto OVT0 and select your customer account group , click on details , you can find 'Field status' , double click on sales area and double click on Sales , now you will find the fields used in customer master - sales tab. Select Req.Entry for Customer group for keeping mandatory and save .

this is not the field ...This i have already made mandatory.

There are fields in Extras - > Additional Data

Using transaction variant (SHD0 t-code) you can do it. The particular fileds KNVV-KVGR1 to 5 are in the Screen - 0200 Program - SAPLV02Z.

i have managed to make the fields mandatory thru SHD0,

When i test it with SDD0, fields are mandatory.

When i try to create thru XD01, fields are not mandatory ..what could be the reason ???

In the standard variant tab, have you "activated" the transaction variant.

another solution is to use extension in master data.

Tcode : CMOD

Create your project

choose extension : SAPMF02D

Example of code :

IF i_knvv-vkorg NE space.

IF i_kna1-ktokd = 'ZFIS' AND

MESSAGE e899(f2) WITH 'your text'.
