CCM login problem

Hi

I am having problem with login to CCM through URL.

I have created user with Catalog_manager and Content_approver roles assigned in CCM.

When tried to login CCM URL it says UID/Pwd not correct.

Where should we create user for CCM login. In SRM or CCM.

Do we need to have RFC connection from SRM to CCM?

If you have steps how to connect CCM with SRM please share with me.

Secondly can you tell me what is Standalone scenario in CCM?

Hi Jagdish,

For working in CCM to maintain catalog or to manage content you have to create dialog user in CCM. However user who has to create SC in EBP thru catalog may be created as service user in CCM.

You have to maintain RFC connection for both CCM and EBP in both system by SM59 . Pls. do maintain logical system also.

In case of Standalone deployment scenario you may have SRM(EBP) , CCM , CSE and CAT in one single deployment.

In this deployment use of XI is optional.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I have created user in CCM with roles Catalog_manager and approver. But I could not login to Catalog home page with this user. Getting "UID/Pwd not correct" error.

What could be the reason.

Hi Jagdish,

While creating SC using Catalog , create user in CCM

and assign role /CCM/CATALOG_SEARCH.

Also in EBP ,Define External Web Services with correct URL parameter in integrated call structure.

Hope it will resolve error.

Thank you for your response.

My problem is not connecting from EBP to Catalog.

I am not able to login to Catalog Homne page to edit the catalogs.

I have created users with Catalog_manager and Approver roles to the user. But giving error "User ID / Password not correct".

There was a problem in the client.

Resolved by changing the client number.

Hi Jagdish,

How did change the client number. Are you talking about the case where the clients/server of CCM and EBP are different and you defined and assigned RFC destns.

My clients are same but still I am getting the error of Client,name or passwd.incorrect when I try to login into CAT URL.

Any more suggestions towards solving the login problem?
