Register Object while creating Proxy in SPROXY

Hi,

In SPROXY wile trying to create a PROXY for my outbound Message Interface, I am prompted to register my object. Is it necessary to register even for custom objects thought I donu2019t have it staring it as a Z. I was under the impression that we need to register only for SAP objects. Please advise.

Did you give the name of the Package ?

Yes , It is a Z package.

While click on Create proxy it will ask for package name and prefix.

Your prefix name should start with Z.

I to have got same problem, it is asking to give a package name starting with Z

It is prompting a msg to assign to SAP

Your XI object name is not nessasary to start with Z.

But your ABAP object should start with Z.

When do you get the error exactly?

Do you have the abap access key/

True, But why do I need to register my object? Is it a necessity? I am just trying to create my proxy from SPROXY and I assigned the Package (Z package).

Please advise.
