fire fighter intial log on

1. When I try to log in to FF.. i am told " contact administrator for inital log on "

2. So far OK...but the problem is I am the adminstrrator !! --what does the admin need to do ?

Determined the error myself

You have to get the FF Admin role assigned to you. Out of the box, it is called, /VIRSA/Z_VFAT_ADMINISTRATOR.

If you have authority, you can assign it to yourself in SU01...

Ankur - I have the admin role to me !

Here is the case :

1. There is a user who is loging on to fire fighter first time

2. The message is ' contact adminstrator for inital log in '

3. I am the admin and dontknwo what to do !!!

4. I have the Admin role assigned !

You have to:

1. Assign the user a FF ID (if you are not using role-based assignments). Create the ID using SU01.

2. Assign an owner for the user.

3. Assign that user the FF ID in the Firefighter table in the dashboard.

4. Assign a password (password should match the one you created in SU01 for the FF ID, which is a Service user) in the Security table.

5. Assign a controller (optional)...

Thanks for the effort!

Incidently Idetermined that the FFID was NOT created as a service user and hence was seekign the admin's permission to log in !!!

Any way thanks for your inputs!
