all your current tablespaces are set to extend automatically (autoextend on and the maximum size is given, for example: PSAPSR3 is 40.960.000 bytes big but can grow till 204.800.000 bytes - if sufficient disk space is provided)....

so, why is the need to add datafiles?

Hi Andreas,

Thank you for your valuable information

Please let me know how can we know that the table spaces are reached max.size

in DB02. In db02 table PSAPSR3 it is showing two used percentages i.e 99% and 20% which one i have to consider and how can i found the growth of the table space.

by the time posting your tablespace PSAPSR3 has allocated 40 gb of which 99% are filled ...but: as all data files of that tablespace have the autoextend option activated the tablespace will grow until 200 gb are reached - if sufficient hard disk space is available, meaning at least 200 gb (if not the tablespace cannot grow!) - 40 gb / 200 gb is 20%...

when the autoextend option is active one has to monitor the disk space rather than the filling grade of the tablespace...

Hi Andreas,

Thank You for your detailed information.

As per your information i have checked all the table space sizes and all are having enough space.

But i have observed that in db02 under tables and indexes option it is showing that 3 indexes are missing in database

Tables Indexes

Total number 70.933 86.319

Total size/kb 32.346.368 40.426.560

More than 1 extent 2.799 3.313

Missing in database 0 3

Missing in R/3 DDIC 0 0

Space-critical objects 0 0

The indexes are

/BIC/FZCF_FLWN-010

/BIC/FZCF_FLWN-020

/BIC/FZCF_FLWN-040

Please let me know you suggestion/solution on the same
