Hello All,
Can any one guide me on this concept?
I have issue when user runs a particular query it is giving most of the times run time error???
And it says Time out any suggestion what all the basic need to check??
Thanks in advance
Rgds,
Sundhu
Dear Sundhu
It seems the query which the user is running contains huge volume of datas and to give the output, it consumes lot of time which system is not permitting. Try to minimise the period say for example, if period is maintained for 2 or 3 years, just try with 2 to 3 months.
thanks

hi,
when the system takes more time than the time out period set it gives as time out error. this may be due to the system is slower in responding

Hello Surya,.
The TIME_OUT dump represents that the query is taking longer than expected time i.e. every transaction in SAP has to be completed in a fixed time( except bkgd jobs).
Plz check your query for the join conditions, am sure ur SAP Query can be optimized/ modified to enhance performance, at the same time giving u the desired result.
Also, plz take help of an ABAPer to optimise ur query.
Reward, if helpful.
Rgds,
Raghu.

Hi,
I think the problem is either with the server connectivity or LAN.
Please check with ur Networking team.
