Posting - Accounting Entry not happening

Dear All,

I have created a billing document with reference to Delivery.

But accounting document has not been created.

The System responded with the Log:

"Account 300004 requires an assignment to a CO object"

+Diagnosis

You have not defined a CO account assignment for an account that is relevant to cost accounting.

System Response

Account 300004 is defined as a cost element.

This means that you must always specify a CO account assignment.

Procedure

Enter one of the following CO account assignments

Order

Cost center / cost center/ activity type

Sales order item (for a project or cost relevant)

Project / WBS element

Cost object (Process manufacturing)

Network/ Network activities

Business process

Profitability segment

Real estate object

The posting row affected is 0000001010, account 300004.+

Note: We are not attaching any Internal Order in to Sales Order.

Thanks for the help.

The profit centre wasn't mainted against respective Cost Centre. Entry has been created in OKB9.

Dear Amit

Go to KA02 enter the controlling area, give the Gl acoount No and click on Master data tab. There select [Default Acc Assgmnt] tab and enter Cost center and save.

Hi amit,

the particular gl a/c should have been created with a cost element and it should be maintained in okb9 if u want to default
