Hi All,
I have a Problem in SRM 5.0.
I have created a su01 user , but when I try to integrate this user into the Org Plan (Preexisting)
using the tx users_gen after selecting teh userid & the Orgid, the system prompts that "Action cancelled" with an error.
Any body experienced this before?
Pl provide inputs.
Thanks & Regards,
NAGARAJAN

try using the option in USERS_GEN
upload in txt file
the only mandatory fields are
USER ID, last name and org unit to which user should be assigned
this user will be created in SU01 also when you upload
so no need to use SU01 user
this is fast method and preferred by customers

Hello Nagaraj
please refer this note 1081356 clearly says that (SU01) user data might be incorrect for the failure. Already Imtiaz answered as well as Dinesh suggested alternative method to do successful USERS_GEN.take care of your delimiter while uploading the data via goto->define seperator in the users_gen.
Hello Muthuraman,
I checked the note suggested by you.
It relates to "Advanced Case Search: hierarchy and related case not working ".
Is this the right note referred by you.
I also tried by giving all the relevant info in the user details as suggested by Imtiaz.
Even otherwise I could solve this thro' assigning to the unassigned Position & CP .
But I would like to know why this sis happening and the remedy.
I am working on the SRM server on Release level 012,whereas the above note affects releases prior to 010.
Any inputs please?
Thanks & Regards,
Nagarajan
1081356 - SRM 5.0 USERS_GEN provides improper error-message handling. I tried with one user which has invaild mail id (like dumm@com) though i could assign the user in the organisation structure. However srm also does some mail validation when you type incomplete mail id during a creation of su01 user. Please assign the user with some other organisation and check it up.confirm the organisation number, country are same while you assign the user.
please search "Action Cancelled" in the forum. You would get related links. it was answered also.
