Handling Units in WM Production Supply

Can anyone explain this process to me?

I have a sloc which is both HUM and WM managed, I create a staging request into 100 with the PO reference as the dynamic bin.

I create a TO which references the HU but I cannot get the TO to confirm as I receive the error message 'Material list 0000000385 for order 1000053 does not have any valid items'

Your staging should be different. One for WM Managed another one for HU Managed.

WM Managed will have TO as the picking document. HU Managed will also have TO as the picking document. When you confirm the TO in HU Managed, pick, pack will be performed which will be associated with a HU. Here you reference the HU. (There are settings for HUM Staging, I believe you have set it up as explained in SAP help documents). If not, please check all your settings and you should be ok.
