While creating sales order, suppose plant 1000 is determined. In that plant no stock is there. How we will come to know about the stock of the other plant in the sales order itself?

in availability check screen u have the option to check the stock in other plants.

it will be seen if u have activated availability check.

Hi,

In sales order, if the plant is determined for the material, system will check the availability of the material for that plant only. If the material is not available or if the user want to deliver the mateial from another plant, user has to change the alternate plant manually in both the cases.

At that point of time, the system will carry out the availability check again.

The simplest way is to go and check in MMBE b4 creating sale order in case the material is produced in multiple plants.

Dear Friend,

you have to active the availability check in your configs.

If you have not done any changes to the availability

follow the simple steps.

In the Material Master give your availability check as 02 Individual requirements .

go to Transaction : OVZK and check whether your item categories are relavet for avail. check

next go to order screen if there is no stock in that particular plant the system will automatically go to the delivery proposal there click in the other plants .

then you can check and put the stock from the other plants.

or else go to edit fast change of plants and then put the new plant there if stock is not there also then you get the delivery proposal screen.
