What are three types of profile parameters and what is their naming convention?
The parameter values that influence the way the R/3 system allocates resources or services can be set either in
the default profile, in the instances profiles, in both at the same time, or in none of them.
1. Start Profile - START_<instance_name>_<hostname>
2. Default Profile - DEFAULT.PFL
3. Instance Profile - <SID>_<instancename> or <SID>_<instancename>_<hostname>

Hi
disp+work. Main SAP dispatcher program, called from the sapu2212start program, which runs as a daemon process and parent of all associated work processes.
With a UNIX command such as ps u2212eaf \ grep dw, you can see the SAP processes. On Windows NT
systems you can see the processes from the Task Manager as disp+work.
