Content Server problem - won't allow any selection of document area

Has anyone encountered a problem before on 4.7 where you can't select the document area?

We are trying to configure a content server and when we select the document area (any of the options available) it simply resets all the fields to blank again and deletes the entries. This is before we even reach a point of saving. If I copy an existing repository and try configure that way, it simply resets all the values back every time I change one.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Apply sap notes 1125404 and 1163925.

I am having the same issue. I create the content repository, but I cannot set the Document Area. When I select from the drop down, it just goes back to blank. How can this be resolved?
