Hi Experts,
How to explain difference between Master data and non Master data? Please give an example.
Thank you
Dear Jamie
Master Data - Its a one time exercise and will be stored for a long time. Any changes in this master data should be done only by top officials
Non Master Data - Whatever day today transactions you run are all flowing from master data only and will be used by all the users and many datas can be changed according to the situation.
thanks

-->The data will be used to create transactuiion data
-->The Data will not be changed prequently.
-->Data life will be more
Example:- Material master , Customer master,Price master etc...
Non master data (Transactional data):-
-->The data will be used daily based
-->The data changes will be happen frequently
-->Data life will be less.
Example:- Sales orders ,Deliveries,Billing documents
I hope it will help you,
Regards,
Murali.
