ASCS New Install

Hi,

We are planning to install ECC 6.0 with ASCS on a different host and then CI/DI and database on a different hosts. I know for a normal CI I need the following filesystem:

/sapmnt

/usr/sap

/usr/sap/trans

/oracle/client

My question is since we will be installing ASCS separately what filesystem do i need and how much space is needed.

The ASCS doesn't take up too much room (I seem to remember about 4 gig or less). But note that the ASCS will be installed in a directory that is shared between systems. So, per se, it won't be installed on a node.

If you have not already ready the installation manual, do it. There is quite a bit of detail about the ASCS in there.
