Support packs 46c

Hi

I have a sap note tha says i need to be on basis support pack 53, can i just apply the basis support packs withoput applyinh the appl and ABBA support packs up to the same level.

Hello Barry,

I would always recommend keeping both ABAP and BASIS support packs at the same level.

Hi

You can do that but you have to check the dependency between then support packages.

Always the ABAP and BASIS support packages have conditionally dependency on each other. For Basis SP 53 you must have ABAP sp 52 in the system

You can check the conditions for the relevant support packages in the "INFO" link when you download it from service marketplace ;; http://service.sap.com/patches

So in ur case if the ABAP SP Level is 52 then you can go for Basis SP 53 without going for ABAP SP 53.
