Normally, historical data will not be migrated in implementation projects.
If the purchase orders are for cost centers, then it is possible. If all the purchase orders belong to projects, assets, etc.. then you need to create the relevant cost objects in SAP.
How you want to handle the finance part if you create old POS and how you handle the goods movement and invoicing?
Lots and lots of questions and too many problems.
Re-enacting/recreating the transaction data is not recommended.
