Can anyone advise what's the diff between Uom 'EA' and 'PC'?
Thanks
Peter
EA = Each and PC = Pieces.
Every material in SAP has its own Units of Measure.
Say you want to order 10 COKE botteles so you will create a materail in the Mastre data for COKE and then give the necessary UOM say Bottles/pieces/each.
For example, if a cutomer orders COKE you will create a SO in your system with material number as COKE and Quantity = whatever is required and units would be EA/PC/Bottles.

Hi Peter,
'EA' means Each
'PCE' means Piece
Each material may have different Pieces
I hope it will clear for you,

Hi,
PC mein can have some contents like 1 pc of strip
EA means each which refers to only 1
For example: ! strip of Capsule may contain 12 pieces.,
So strip will be PC and capsules will be EA.
Hope this will help.
Thanks,
Raja
