Cause code mandatory at time of closing Notification

Hi ,

Can we make cause code mandatory at the time of completing the notification (NOCO status).We can make cause code mandatory at the time of create but i need at the time we complete the notification when there is no cause code it should give a hard error.

hi

you can make the cause code mandatory by setting the field as required in IMG settings in t code OIAL,

but for completion purpose you have to use user exit to achieve this
