hi Friends,
I have a doubt as how to determine the Netweaver version,
As i have installed ECC6.0 (i.e. ERP 2005) and its based on Netweaver 2004S
But still how can i find out whether its
SAP NetWeaver 7.1
or
NetWeaver 7.0 (= NetWeaver 2004s),
Waiting for your reply...
Regards
Aayush
Hello
You have installed ECC therefore you will an ABAP instance and Java instance
For ABAP you can see the version from System -> Status
For Java Instance You can see the system info from the URL http:
<hostname>:<port num>
Thanks

Hi Aayush,
indeed for an SAP ECC 6.0 system, there is no easy way to see that it is based on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (fka SAP NetWeaver 2004s). System -> Status shows you ECC 6.0 (which is a product version). Using the icon for component details, you can see the software component versions. SAP_BASIS 7.0 is the key to know that the system is related to SAP NetWeaver 7.0.
For Java, as Mona already stated, the software components can be found on the system status page:
7.1 based java server: http://<hostname>:<port num>/nwa/sysinfo
7.0 based java server. http://<hostname>:<port num>/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo
Please note that there has already been some threads on this question in this forum, so as always it is worth searching first ...

hi,
you can check the netweaver version after installation in Help --> About SAP NETWEAVER DEVELOPER STUDIO and you can check the version over there.
