License for Asset on Imports

Hi,

Have any one worked on license determination for Assets, because Assets have Asset Master but not have the Material Master.

We perform classification with ECCN at material Master level.

So, how do we handle Assets for licensing?

Do we need to create Material for the Assets too to use GTS license determination functionality

hi,

as nothing else can be maintained or transfered in, into GTS, I think, you should maintain the assets as materials too.

yes, we created summy material master for all assets and carried out std outbound delivery process
